GRP stands for Glass Reinforced Polyester and is more commonly referred to as fibreglass. GRP can be used in all situations for any shape, size or complexity. It will outlast and outperform virtually any other roofing material and is suitable for domestic and commercial applications.
All our GRP roofs come with a minimum 25 year guarantee and full approval by the BBA (British Board of Agrément). Laid as a liquid resin onto a chopped straw glass fibre matt (removing the need for torches or heating) the resin forms around any shape with a seamless finish. Fibreglass roofs are also available in different colours and finishes, including non-slip for balconies or walkways.
Fibreglass roof technology originally dates back to boat manufacturing shortly after the Second World War. Improved with time and technology, boats 50 years old still show no sign of deterioration above or below water level, and fiberglass is now widely used in storage tanks, vehicle bodies and speed boats. GRP roofing technology is not only tried and tested, it’s stood the test of time, and that is why we believe GRP is the roofing choice for the future.
